  • “Charming and Convenient”

We decided to take a much needed get-away to Cape Cod where we have never visited. Provincetown seemed the likely town to stay in because of it’s location to the Cape Cod National Seashore, and it’s reputation for diversity. Searched different sites for a hotel, but at first glance I enjoyed the description of this lovely Inn. The owners, Jose and Bill we so friendly and made our stay so enjoyable. We felt like house guests not paying guests! Our room was comfortable, having the King size bed was a bonus!
Coffee and breakfast could be had as early as you wanted, Jose especially seemed to be a early riser like my husband and I.

  • “Very nice B&B with comfortable and stylish rooms”

We booked the Bradford Carver House because of its excellent recommendations and were delighted. The rooms are stylish and comfortable. The whole interior of the house is very unique.
The location is about 2 minutes away from P-town center, within its colorful and diverse neighborhood. The beaches are best reached with bicycles, which can be rented around the corner. The habour with its whale watching boats is 5 minutes away.
Also worth mentioning that the two hosts – Bill and Jose – are very kind and helpful.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay a lot, and highly recommend this B&B.

  • “Friendly stay in PTown”

Very comfortable and friendly owners. Nostalgic feel with many antiques and collectables. A homey feel with easy access to to the main square and harbor. I had a small room on second floor that was very comfortable and private.

  • “As wonderful as the first time.”

Returned to Bradford Carver after having such a wonderful stay last year. The experience was equally as wonderful. Bill & Jose as always are the most accommodating & friendly hosts. If you need anything they are quick to make it happen for you if they can. We were even a bit early and they had everything prepared for us already. Plus we wanted to leave later in the day and they let us park our car for no extra charge all day. Morning breakfast at this B&B is above and beyond the usual continental which is terrific. The beds are comfortable, a/c works great and the huge tv is great for a rainy day. I would highly recommend a stay at Bradford Carver.

  • “So welcoming”

A short but very sweet visit to provincetown and a delightful stay with Bill & Jose. They were both very welcoming and were super helpful with information.
The room was very comfy and their house is unique. The location is amazing, just a few sties away from the exciting streets.
We will definitely return to this home from home guest house.

  • “A repeat customer here; Still happy”

I choose to stay here since i had such a wonderful experience the year before. I was not disappointed, the host still has his finger on the pulse of Provincetown. He knew which restaurants were on the way down since they changed vendors and which ones were on the way up. I called early this year to be able to get a first floor room as i cannot climb steps well (I use a cane). I had a huge room with and even bigger bed, it had its own side entrance so i did not have to wake everyone or interrupt trooping through the living room. THe breakfast was a great treat, a very nice spread.
all in all i had again a wonderful time, i would recommend the Bradford Carver House to anyone who want to get away from the cookie cutter rooms of other places. You will be made to feel at home and there are many free amenities, check them out.

  • “Friendly and convenient”

Stayed for 4nights as a special birthday trip. Bill and Jose were the perfect hosts, drying our wet clothes after an extremely wet and rough whale watch trip! Good old English tea upon request and a lovely bottle of wine to help me celebrate! The large room was comfortable with our own shower. The guest house is located on a street behind Commercial street but still only a few minutes walk to the centre of Commercial St. Breakfast was adequate . Would go back tomorrow if I could, thank you Bill and Jose for making us so very welcome Carole and Vince UK. X

  • “Great hosts,beautiful home,a comfortable,charming place to stay.”

I loved my visit to Bradford Carver House so much ,I extended my stay by 2 days. The hosts,Bill and Jose are friendly and informative and immediately made me feel at home. The house is perfectly situated slightly away from the main street but within minutes walking distance. My room on the ground floor was clean, tastefully decorated, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in.The shower was clean and efficient and well supplied with freshly laundered towels and faceclothes. The breakfast was exactly what I needed, lots of freshly made coffee and plenty of fresh fruit and toasted muffins.Provincetown was a complete delight and when I return I shall definitely stay with Bill and Jose at this gem of a B&B !

  • “Bargain in tourist area”

We planned for one night, enjoyed it so much we extended to two. We had a king size bed in this comfortable bed & breakfast located one block from the heart of the tourist area. Inexpensive and a great value for the price.

  • “Convenient and cozy”

This was a very convenient place to stay in Provincetown, just a short block from the commercial main street. There is a private parking area around the corner from the house, but we were able to find a spot on the street across from the house. The bed was very comfortable and the shower hot and strong. The breakfast provided was good to start the day with.

  • “Clean and friendly!”

I had a n amazing stay at The Bradford Carter House! We had our own private entrance to the room and to was a king. Had our own bathroom and we were fed a delicious breakfast every morning. Yes it was continental style but there were enough options to choose from. We will definitely stay here again.

  • “November in Provincetown”

My husband and I spent 2 nights in the middle of November in Provincetown taking a chance on the weather. Bill and Jose are wonderful, friendly, accomodating hosts. Our room was cozy warm and very clean with all sorts of antique pictures, furniture etc. Breakfast was more than adequate with something for everyone and the coffee was very good. The day after I made the reservation, I found that we needed to move the dates forward a day. Since they had availability, they were wonderfully agreeable to change the dates. Also, their two suggestions for dinner were spot on!

  • “Typical family-owned hotel”

Typical family-owned hotel in the heart of Provincetown close to the beach and to the commerce. The hotel owner/keeper Bill is very helpful, thanks to him we took a fantastic whale watching trip. The hotel is small and cozy, breakfast included, flat screen TV,CD player,Wi Fi,AC, but try to get a larger room looking to the backyard.Unfortunately without the prior knowledge of the hotel we hadn’t asked about that so our room was small for two persons and rather noisy as it looked directly to the street.

  • “Great location in Provincetown”

My tall husband and I stayed in the tiniest room of this very conveniently located B&B in Provincetown. I mention “tall” because for us, we selected a room that didn’t well accommodate my husband’s height. Even the shower had a slanted ceiling. Other than that, the innkeepers are very nice and helpful. I would suggest contacting innkeepers Bill or Jose directly if you have any questions. There is off street parking just around the corner. You can’t pick a much better location in Provincetown.

The B&B is quite full of curios and knick-knacks. You’ll either find it quaint and charming or you’ll find it cluttered. Choose quaint and it should work. Our room was on the second floor and our luggage was large. This is an old building, so the staircase is narrow. If you are traveling with more than a overnight bag, you might be happier on the first floor. Bill graciously carried my bag upstairs for me.

The breakfast is continental, but there is enough to eat – cereal, English muffins, toast, bagels, peanut butter, honey, coffee, juice… There isn’t a dining room, but the living room serves as a breakfast area. We enjoyed visiting with several other people who were staying in the B&B.

  • “Lovely place, lovely hosts”

We stayed four nights at this quaint B&B close to downtown. Bill and Jose were immensely accommodating and helpful. We had a ground floor room in the front but didn’t find the road noise to be a problem. Rooms are well appointed, and extremely clean. Cable TV with a BIG screen in our room and excellent wifi throughout. (Stairs to upper rooms might be a challenge if you have bad knees, however!) Breakfast was pretty ordinary but you could have as much as you wanted and Jose was johnnie on the spot for replenishing things. If I was to criticize anything the breakfast area could get crowded if more than two people were serving themselves but this wasn’t an issue during our stay.

  • “Nicest hosts ever”

Bill & José are the nicest hosts willing to do almost anything you wish to make your stay pleasant. Rooms are nice with comfy beds and large tv’s. Also they give an above average continental breakfast each morning. Everything is well maintained and if there is an issue they are on it immediately. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay again.

  • “A Delightful find cose to everything.”

The Bradford-Carver House was a delightful find in Provincetown. From the moment I walked in to the house I was made to feel at home. I was made to feel we had been friends for years, even though this was my first time here. The Innkeeper Bill introduced himself quickly, got the necessary paperwork out of the way then showed me my room, explaining all the amenities very well. The place was homey; it smelled like a home not an industrial hotel. The pictures are not screwed to the walls like you find at the majors. All those little things added up, I again felt I had been invited to stay with friends rather than bought a place to stay.
The Inn is well located, within even my walking distance (I need a cane to walk) to Commercial Street a block away. Bill had great recommendations on where to go and what to do, he knows his town well. Personal service is what I was trying to find the words for, attentive; they listened to what I wanted to do and had great input.
I will keep this place on the top of my list when coming to Provincetown and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

  • “Exceptional Value”

I have stayed at the Bradford-Carver House twice so far after finding this homey comfortable guest house online. Both stays were for one night only (June & August) to attend planned events in Provincetown. I booked both stays easily by phone and Bill fully described all my options each time. On my first visit I chose a room on the 1st floor with a private entrance and private bath. The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. On my second stay I was in a 2nd floor room at the front of the house. Although it was directly across the street from a night club, it was surprisingly quiet, very comfortable and just as spotless. The location is within short walking distance to most restaurants and entertainment, and the off street private parking that comes with the room is an added bonus. A continental breakfast is provided in the cost of the room. Both Bill & Jose are friendly & helpful which made my stay enjoyable. I will definitely be choosing this B&B as my 1st choice for future stays in Provincetown.

  • “Excellent”

My partner and I booked a last minute stay here and were extremely satisfied with everything!! From the ease of booking to the amazing location in the heart of PTown, off street parking, comfortable rooms with excellent/tasteful deco, and the super friendly/helpful hosts Bill and Jose. The room also had a fireplace on a timer which was warm, comfortable and inviting on a cool October evening. I recommend it and will definitely stay there again.

  • “Great Stay”

This is a great guesthouse in the ideal location to explore Provincetown. Walking distance to the Dolphin Fleet Whale Watching and Pilgrim Monument, free on site parking where you can leave the car and easily explore the town on foot.
Bill and Jose are happy to help with bookings and local information and make you feel very comrtale and relaxed.
Lovely attention to detail and individual requests, hot tea for us Brits! Thank you.

  • “Last minute road trip”

Got a great last minute deal at the Bradford Carver House. Perfect location just a short walk from town. Room was clean and comfortable. The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. Parking provided just a few steps from the inn. We will certainly stay here again.

  • “Bradford Carver House”

I stayed at the Bradford Carver House alone. The rooms was big enough, clean and equipped with a little freezer, radio, big TV, air conditioner and even some magazines. The hosts are very friendly. The location is like perfect, near to the center but far of all the noise, you can walk all over the town and still the place will be near by. I was in P-Town to do whale sight, the people in the hotel gave me discount ticket so I save a couple bucks…

  • “Great location and owners are great!”

I’ve stayed at the Bradford Carver with my wife two years in a row for Memorial Day Weekend. The rooms are a good size and very well kept. The hosts are also very friendly and welcoming. The location is just a block parallel to the center of town which makes it a great place to stay whether you just like walking around town or going out in the evenings. I’d highly recommend this as a place to stay!

  • “Great location and hosts”

We stayed one night for a short visit in Provincetown. The location is excellent and only a few minutes walk from Commercial St. For an inn, the room is pretty large (we stayed in the big room on the 2nd floor) with own bathroom and shower. The room is airconditioned which was good in July. Bill and Jose are very friendly and nice hosts, and they also serve a satisfactory breakfast, which is included in the price. If choosing to stay here, I’d recommend contacting them directly for reservations.

  • “Worth checking out”

The owners Bill and Jose are very friendly. They help you wherever they can. We felt right at home. The room in itself was not big but had all the comfort you needed. You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Ptown.

  • “B&B in Ptown”

    For the Disabled Traveler:
I use trekking poles due to a mobility issue. They dont claim to be accessible and for sure if you are in a wheel chair, this is not the place for you. I found the owners to be very helpful in getting our bags in and making sure I was safe. The house is located at the top of a big hill, so the walk from the parking area may be challenging as is getting in.

    For all Travelers:
A very nicely appointed house. The owners are on site and very attentive. The room was nicely decorated, but could hve used some room darkening shades instead of the wood blinds for better light control in the morning. We are not used to a room A/C so found it a bit noisey althought it was new. The bed and bathroom were perfect. Loved the walk in shower and the nicely sized TV. The breakfast was advertized as a continental breakfast and was a bit sparse to my liking. Some pastry would have been a nice touch.
Cant say enough about the owners: very kind, interesting to talk to and were genuinley concerned with our comfort. We would stay there again.

  • “Really good!”

Really love the interior of the guest house. The hospitable hosts do have a good taste! And of course, besides looking good, it’s also comfortable enough. If you also take into account its rather central location, the place could be considered perfect!

  • “An unexpected find that made our first time in...

This is an absolutely lovely home tucked in the heart of town. Easy walking distance from everything. The innkeeper, Bill was terrific. You felt like you’d known him your whole life. The room that we had was immaculate and filled with antiques that had my wife reminiscing about her aunts and grandmother’s home. Thanks to Herb down at the Chamber of Commerce who told us about the place we had a totally
enjoyable first time in Provincetown and are definitely planning to return. When we do, you can rest assured that we will be hoping that Bill and Jose will have room for us at the inn. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed. Thanks Bill for a wonderful experience.

  • “Great 2 night stay in Ptown”

This is our 3rd time staying at the Bradford Carver House. We love it for its great location, cozy charming rooms and amenities. The owners Bill and Jose are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Its a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

  • “comfortable & good location”

We stayed for one night in May 2013 as a couple with a friend and booked two rooms. The Bradford carver was very close to the centre of town and therefore easily accessible to restuarants and shops by foot. there was parking available which was a bonus in Provincetown. the rooms were comfortable, clean and tidy and there was a complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi. We would stay there again if visiting Provincetown

  • “Great location”

This is a welcoming and well run guest house in a great location. The centre of Provincetown is near by as are restaurants and the sea.
Bill and Carlos are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean and have everything you need.
There is also good parking which is a necessity there.

  • “There should be an "Exceded All Expectations", rating! Kevin...

We tried a very nice B&B on Martha’s Vinyard last year and several times thought, we should have returned to stay with Bill & Jose again! This year we did and will for ALL our future Cape Cod trips.
There isn’t one thing we would change for our next stay with the ever thoughtful, honest and helpful Bill and Jose! There recommendations were based on our requests and not just for places owned by their friends.

  • “Extremely pleasant”

I stayed here for the first time in 2012. Although I think the house is a bit cluttered with furniture, pictures and knick-knacks, the gentlemen that run this B&B are incredibly sweet and conscientious. For me, it was a great location also; central to town but not in the heart of all the noise and flocks of people. The price was right, there’s free parking, I had my own bathroom and the location was great. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay here again.

  • “Home away from home”

I had an excellant stay here. I stayed in the room on second floor with side entrance. Nice size room with very comfy bed and a gas fireplace. Great off season rates. Bil and jose where super hosts.Very friendly and informative.
Place is very clean and has a contiental breakfast in parlor in the morning. Right in the middle of P-town a block away from very busy comercial st so the stay was nice and Quiet. also had good size parking lot in back.
Will be staying here again. Thanks to Bill and Jose for a wonderful sleep.

  • “A warm welcome”

This place is full to the brim with stuff…paintings, ornaments and furniture, but there is still room for a very warm welcome. There were low season rates which made it a very attractive option for budget travellers.

  • “Great Hospitality”

I had a wonderful long weekend stay at the Bradford Carver House. My room was clean ,cosy and comfortable. The house is close walking distance to all the great shops and restaurants on Commercial St. Jose and Bill were very welcoming and made me feel very much at home.
Jose found my left-behind jacket and was kind enough to mail it back to me in just a few days.
    Thank you so much!

  • “Home away from home”

We have been staying at the Bradford Carver House for many many years.Always a great experience.

  • “Excellent, comfortable Inn, run by two extremely nice owners...

My wife and I stopped in Provincetown for the night on our New England road trip, and came across the Inn after a recommendation from the tourist information in the town. We were welcomed warmly, and were able to able to get extremely good rates. The room was clean, well appointed with ensuite shower, and sumptuously decorated with attention to detail. Wonderful bed, very comfortable nights sleep. Very close to the town centre and everything in Provincetown. A complimentary breakfast got us fuelled for the road the next morning. Highly recommendable.

  • “The BEST place to stay in Provincetown!”

I return here every year for vacation. Everything is always perfect and this B&B also has FREE PARKING which many other guest houses do not offer.
Perfect location and friendly hosts make this the #1 place to stay!

  • “You'll Go Back Again and Again”

I’ve been going to Provincetown since 1989, and stayed at many of the guest houses. The Bradford-Carver House is by far my favorite. The rooms are lovely — old New England style, with fireplaces on the ground floor and sloping ceilings upstairs. You really feel like you’re away from the world and not just in a room that could be anyplace. Bill and Jose are the best of hosts — there when you need them but never intrusive. There’s a nice breakfast every morning, and Bill and Jose go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. This year, they even let me use a beach umbrella so that I could extend my days at Herring Cove without getting too sunburned. It’s right in the center of town, easy walks to the Boatslip, A-House, Crown and Anchor and all the good restaurants. It’s about 30 minutes by foot from Herring Cove, and 10 minutes by bike.

  • “Honeymoon”

Spent three days here and it’s a quaint, typical New England seaside home. Lovely decor, fun out buildings (where one can also stay) and delicious sit-down breakfasts.Terrific hosts and close to all the goings on in P-town.

  • “Clean, comfortable, affordable, and a perfect location!”

I’ve stayed in several Provincetown guest houses over the years, but this will definitely be the one for all my future visits. Location is always one of my prime considerations on a trip, and when one is as conveniently located as this (just a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants and nightlife) AND is as cozy and inviting as the Bedford-Carver House, why stay anywhere else? Thanks to Bill and Jose for doing a superb job is making everyone feel like an old friend.

  • “Lovely room, gracious host”

We enjoyed a lovely two days at this delightful B&B near the center of P-town. We stayed in a newly refurbished room on the side of the building. It was comfortable and cozy and clean and the bedding was superb. The Bill and Jose were terrific hosts and gave us excellent dinner suggestions and made sure we were taken care of throughout our stay. Pleasant and interesting fellow guests were an added bonus. We highly recommend this B&B.

  • “I loved it !!”

  • “Our home away from home.”

We have been staying here for many years. This is our home away from home.
We are always treated like family.
The rooms are comfortable and clean.
They have a nice continental style breakfast every morning.
BIll and Jose are wonderful hosts. We wouldn’t think of staying any place else!
Free parking is a big plus too.

  • “Great place to stay”

Due to tight traveling schedule I spent only 1 day at Bradford Carver but I had a great time. Bill and Jose made me feel at home and room was very cozy, comfortable and clean. This place is definetly worth recommending.

  • “OUTSTANDING”

The Bradford – Carver House is a wonderful place to stay. Perfect location, exellent rates, very friendly staff. I will be back! Free Parking is a big plus as well! Simply the Best!

  • “We go back every year to our home away...

Location! The owners are always there for you. Rooms were cozy and well furnished with antiques.

  • “Fourth stay and still perfect!!!”

Very nice historical B&B, well located, few steps of every attraction and restaurants, very kind owners, clean and comfy rooms with historic decoration, fourth stay and not the last one.

  • “A home away from Home”

I was dazzled that every day I was there the bedding and the toiletries were meticulously replaced and/or rearranged. José and Bill went well above and beyond my most minimal expaectations in accomdating me. They were accurate and informative about all of my interests and queries about the local life and atractions etc. They even extended their personal touch of first aid when I had some minor injuries I might add. The continental breakfast in their very intimate and very elegant abode was a very generous and stylishly presented. I much felt like I was living poetry while staying with them. Thanks so much Bill and José !

  • “We will be back!”

Our hosts Bill and Jose were great, welcoming us each morning with a lovely continential breakfast that we could either enjoy in the antique filled front room or in our lovely light filled, impeccably maintained room. The location cannot be surpassed. Steps from the center of town and near everything. A true gem!

  • “Found a new place to stay every year...no more...

This was our first time staying with Bill & Jose and we loved it!! Very helpful and friendly hosts! Always willing to help with any questions I had! Even with band-aids when my gf had a minor injury ! : ) Loved our room and the location was great! We even stayed an extra day ! We will be back next year!

  • “I can't imagine staying anywhere else!”

I have been vacationing in Provincetown once or twice yearly for over 20 years now, moving from place to place practically every time. Ever since i discovered the Bradford-Carver House I have stayed there only, every single time and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. It has everything I need – a great central location, parking, comfortable beautiful rooms. Bill and Jose are great hosts, always nice to chat with. I am at the point where I really do feel like I am visiting old friends whevever I stay there.

  • “Wonderful stay..”

This was a wonderful stay, we wish we had more time. Jose & Bill were excellent hosts, the breakfasts were outstanding as were the accommodations, location and scenery. We will highly recommend this B&B and hope to go again.
    Many thanks,

  • “I had a great time at the Bradford-Carver!”

I just spent the Thanksgiving holidays in Provincetown and decided to stay with Bill and Jose at the Bradford-Carver House. The best pick I could make! Provincetown is a beautiful, cute place and my hosts had been just great. They answered all my questions patiently, were helpful and always in a good mood. Their house is very unique and reflects their passion, making it an experience to stay with them. I loved my room. I was told it is the smallest room in the house but I did not mind at all and besides, the place where I stay in New York City is way smaller. Though I tried hard to think of anything I might complain about, I simply cannot find even a tiny bit. It was really as good as I hoped it would be. Maybe it was even better. I hope I will be able to come back one time and wish Bill and Jose all the best. They shall keep on the good work and shall not bother about unfair nagging.

  • “Fantastic stay”

Bill and Jose are the most wonderful, welcoming hosts. We just spent 5 nights in Provincetown. We were so happy to have selected the Bradford-Carver House. Our room was wonderful. It was comfortable and spacious with a great bathroom. The location is great – very close to the center of town – easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and harbor. Parking is provided. Bill and Jose just couldn’t have been nicer. It was a wonderful stay. We would definitely recommend this B&B!

  • “The BEST Place on Earth!”

You won’t find a better value for your money in Provincetown. Bill & Jose are the best hosts and the guest house is charming. Perfect location. We have been staying with them for many, many years and would not even think about staying elsewhere! Once you stay at the Bradford-Carver House, you WILL return!

  • “very convenient and comfortable!!”

I stayed at the Bradford Carver House for two nights with friends, and overall, it was the best weekend of the summer. Provincetown is a fantastic destination, and this guest house is an ideal place from which to experience it. The house has free parking conveniently adjacent, bicycle racks out front, and it’s only a block away from the very heart of Commercial Street– the perfect location. Arrival was very simple– the hosts Bill and Jose were cheerful and helpful, showing us the room and its features. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom very spacious and well-appointed. The air conditioner in the room worked well, and the water pressure and hot water were great. A continental breakfast was served in the morning, plenty of food, and no need to stand in line at a brunch place (unless you want to). We had multiple keys to the room and felt comfortable coming and going at any time– even though it was a guest house, we felt we had plenty of privacy, no sense of bothering others. The guest house provided not only bath towels, but also beach towels– a huge help!! The room had a giant TV, which we didn’t use, and a large video library (didn’t use), but nice to know these features are available. Free wireless is useful! Prices are steep in Ptown in the high season, and we felt that the price here, though high, was worth it for the convenience, and because we were able to book a stay for only 2 nights (given the much longer minimum bookings required by other places). It fit our needs well, and I would definitely return.

  • “Home Away From Home”

Part of the warmth and enjoyment of visiting Provincetown is staying at the Bradford-Carver House. One cannot find two better hosts–Bill and Jose–to make you feel welcome and they do it with sincerity. The friendliness on the part of both of these gentlemen sets the tone for an enjoyable stay and vacation. The rooms are kept clean and immaculate, with Jose doing the housekeeping. He pays attention to details and when you return to the room from enjoying the day inProvincetown , the clean room makes you feel great,. The breakfasts are modest but so are the prices in comparison to other guest houses. We wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else.

  • “Provincetown MA travelers look no furthur, Bradford Carver House...

Ten minute walk to Commercial Street and very close to all major tourist areas in Provincetown. Owners Bill & Jose make you feel at home and fulfill any Vacationing needs at their squeeky-clean home. Quaint antique home with modern conveniences transformed into a guest house at the same time possessing the charm and antiques from the past. First and second floor rooms available with private bath. A few rooms with private entrance including an outside area to sit and relax for all. Continental breakfast. Collectibles through the entire home. A/C, heat, TV, etc. See their website. Take it from me, a hard working health care professional, I highly recommend Bradford Carver House.

  • “Beautiful six bedroom home central to everything downtown”

Jose and Bill were the most accomadating hosts to date of
Any bed and breakfast we have ever stay in Provincetown to date. You forgot you where staying at some elses home. Nice big queen size bed and spaceous room with private bath.Parking was plentiful and next door.Continental breakfast had a huge assortment of fruits, cereal, bagels, and with plenty of things to drink.

  • “This was a great place to stay”

July 4th weekend is a hard time to get a room in Provincetown, and I found this place by looking at the last minute availability on a Ptown website. I thought that we were just lucky to get anything so I didn’t know what to expect. We usually stay at the Surfside Inn, but they were booked. We were pleasantly surprised by this lovely, kitschy inn! It is chock full of stuff to look at. Primarily Victorian but with funny touches like a painting of Pope John Paul II and ornate lamps with figurines wearing powdered wigs. The hosts were so nice, and available but not intrusive. The place was quiet and we barely saw any other guests though the inn was full. We watched 2 movies out of the hundreds available while we were there and it was relaxing and fun to do that. The location is GREAT, one block from a busy part of Commercial Street, yet quiet for us to sleep.

The inn was very clean and pretty, with flowers in the yard and easy parking. The continental breakfast was good and the innkeepers were very helpful. We would stay there again for sure. Our room had 11 wall sconces and you could turn the lights down very low and the room was glowing and peaceful- a nice touch!

  • “Great Victorian-esque rooms and fabulous hosts”

I start off by saying that our stay in P-town was a last minute decision.
After frantic calling and e.mailing, hosts Bill and Jose contacted me offering a King size bedroom at a discounted rate at $130. Included in the price was breakfast, private shower, two entrances to the bedroom, air-con, fridge, satellite TV and free parking.
Compared to the other B and Bs, it sounded like a great deal and we took them up on their offer.
The location was only one street from Commercial street (the hub of P-town).
Despite arriving late, Bill and Jose were very warming and gave us a “grand tour” of their B and B. Only 6 rooms big, it was perfect.
Our room was clean, well maintained and furnished with elaborate lights and antiques. Breakfast was served from 8am – 11am and was enough for a good start to the day.
I read in the other reviews that these guys had a MASSIVE video collection – I kid you not – it was EXTENSIVE! Good to watch classics during rainy nights (which unfortunately was the case for us).
The rooms had also been recently refurbished, Internet was also free!
During the summer season, the prices will go up and I would advise in phoning ahead early if one wishes to stay there. Clearly, No. 29 of 59 does not do this cute B and B justice – please review more tripadvisor peeps!!!

It made our first trip in P-town more memorable to have friendly hosts welcome us. I would gladly stay there again.

  • “Falling in love with Old Cape Cod....”

The house is comfortable, very clean, charming, and welcoming. Cannot beat the location (hint: On-site parking, 1 block from Commercial St.). Hosts Bill and Jose make you feel like family. We recommend it to our friends!!!!

  • “Great Stay at a True Gem!”

Beautiful historic inn ,walk to everything in P-Town. I had a VERY comfortable bed, super CLEAN bathroom and cheerful innkeepers. I can’t wait to go back.

  • “This is where you want to stay”

Simply put, I could not have had a better experience. I’ve stayed at many B&Bs in the past, and have had at least one complaint about each, but this place was stellar in every way. The owners are amazingly friendly, and most importantly, accomodating in every way possible. I was impressed with their service, thoughtfulness, tasty breakfast and flat-out gorgeous rooms. Take my advice and stay in the pink room with the king sized bed. It is beautifully appointed. I wish I was still there!

  • “Our first B&B and we loved it!”

We stayed just one night at the Bradford Carver house. We had never stayed in a B&B before so we were a bit relcutant. The clerk at the Chamber of Commerce suggested this B&B. The price was right and we were tired. When we arrived, we were very impressed. All of the rooms have a private bath!! Our bathroom was great. We had a small fridge. It was neatly decorated and clean. Bill and Jose were friendly hosts and made us feel right at home. I would recommend this B&B to anyone visiting P-Town!

  • “The Pilgrims woundn't have moved to Plymouth...”

… if they could have stayed at Bradford Carver! I chose B.C. House for my inaugural trip to New England and Provincetown for the 4th of July 2004 weekend. Bill and Jose’s service and help made everything so much easier for my trip starting with the reservation process. No back and forth e-mails and phone calls as with other local accomdations I contacted at the same time. Bill made it simple, helpful, and to the point. They went out of their way to make my stay pleasant and memorable without being overbearing- except when I need them to be. (heh heh) My upstairs room was vintage New England with all the modern “perks” I could have wanted. Jose kept it spotless daily! The location is perfect for jaunts around town. The “continential” breakfast was a more extensive than I was lead to believe. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in P-Town after my stay at Bradford-Carver House. Bill and Jose’s professionalism, courtesy, and help that was extended to me and the other guests was the cherry on the whipped cream on the ice cream! I can’t recommend Bradford Carver House enough.

  • “Halloween in P-Town”

The week of Halloween 2002, We spent our last week of vacation at the Bradford Carver House. Our hosts Bill and Jose were very accomendating and attentive. They provided information for everything to do in town and instructions on how to get there. The Bradford House is very well kept with plenty of history and within walking distance to P-Town. All the shops are very friendly and open. The people are as interested in the vistors as the visitors are with them and there town. Plus the fall colors, the beach, dunes, resturants, and the colorful people. We recommend the Bradford House for the best and most convient stay on the cape.
